Like Father, Like Son
While some of you may not have heard of Simplot, you will certainly have come across their products in the supermarket. They include some of Australia’s favourite brands, such as Birds Eye, John West and Leggo’s – to name just a few. Simplot recently asked James Holden and Joe Bonington of Leadership Revolution to provide a leadership and team building program to run over two days.
The program kicked off with a powerful keynote speech from legendary mountaineer, Sir Chris Bonington. Within minutes the room was spellbound as Chris weaved his storytelling charm.
Are You A Natural Born Leader?
Running a business today requires radically different leadership skills than you would have used as an employer five to ten years ago. The rapidly changing marketplace, increased global competition, and leaner organisational structures require radically different skills and attitudes.

Success Story
Giving something back: Leadership Revolution are working with Surf Life Saving NSW to develop their emerging leaders, equipping them with skills to succeed. Using Leadership Revolution’s unique Inca Leadership Challenge. Teams embark on a simulated adventure journey where they are constantly challenged, just like in a real Indiana Jones movie. Teams learn about communication, decision making, delegation, conflict resolution, leadership, risk taking and relationship building. Not bad for a day’s activity.
The feedback we have received from participants on the Youth Leadership Development Program was really positive.
The Inca Leadership Challenge was an alternate way of looking at Leadership, helping participants analyse their position in this role and the relationships that feature in this dynamic position. Staff and participants alike found the group work extremely beneficial in building relationships and leadership abilities. Clear demonstration of tasks enabled participants to complete the Inca Challenge to the best of their ability. Best of all the Inca Challenge was fun, and allowed everyone a significant position to play.
