For those who didn't know, we're recently back from South America. Anyone who has been to Peru and Bolivia will know how in awe we are of these places. In amongst down hill mountain biking on 'Death Road', we took time out to create the sequel to our successful Everest Leadership Challenge (virtual mountaineering learning tool).

This time we've gone for an Indiana Jones, mingled with Da Vinci Code approach. ln the 'Treasure of the Lost Incas’ one of the scenarios features Machu Picchu (see photograph). From the Amazon, to Machu Picchu to high mountain passes, team's experience a range of challenging scenarios with our creative consequences. By the end of the experience team's know more about themselves, how they impact with each other and how this effects the results they set out to achieve.
Conducted over one day or two half days, this facilitated learning tool provides an unforgettable journey that will take your team to higher ground.

Leadership Article: Is Your Company Bleeding Talent?

The Gallup Organization surveyed more than 200,000 workers from dozens of organizations and industries in an effort to identify the factors that most influence retention, productivity, profitability, customer loyalty and safety. Curt Coffman and Marcus Buckingham published their findings in First, Break All the Rules. They found that employee responses to six key questions had an especially strong correlation to performance, and concluded that those six factors represent the foundation of great management. This article provides an excellent summary of the six questions.

"In organizations, real power and energy is generated through relationships. The patterns of relationships and the capacities to form them are more important than tasks, functions, roles, and positions."

"When Brett Murray from Camp Dare asked us to accompany him and eight young men from very different backgrounds to the Kimberleys on a leadership journey we jumped at the opportunity."

Planning your Learning & Development for Next Year?
Here’s some recent feedback:

Coaching:

"I can truly say that the program of coaching and leadership from Leadership Revolution has changed me significantly. Where I was confused, I am now certain. I now know myself, my values and what motivates me better than ever before. I recognise patterns of behaviour in myself and others, and as such am far better equipped to deal with them and create great results.
It sometimes sounds corny, but knowing yourself is the first act of great leadership. For me, this doesn't mean grand acts of leading others; it means leading myself to behave in a way that is fulfilling and enjoyable. This is now how I measure my own success. James Holden has shown me how to do this with a well-crafted, individual program. He is passionate about what he does and the change he sees in others. And this is really the number one thing you want from a coach."

Liam Royes, Orbis Global,
Senior Manager, Client Services & Support

Facilitation:

"The facilitation training I have received from Leadership Revolution has given me the tools I needed to turn my training seminar from a three hour monologue in to an interactive, educational experience that my clients will be raving about. I'd recommend training from James to all levels of management, sales people, and the self-employed."

Brendan Byrne, Director, It Staff Online

Development:

"I have undertaken many courses and never felt quite so spontaneous. Leadership Revolution have an adept ability to focus on KEY issues which has assisted me immensely."

Anthony John, Managing Director, Antek Corporate Design

Team Building:

"The Everest Leadership Challenge is an interesting simulated challenge and clearly drives home the key points of leadership and leadership styles and the group enjoyed participating in it and took significant benefit from it."

Bill Mackarell, The Executive Connection - TEC10 Chairman
